For when you want your luxo-truck but don’t want to deal with the size and feeding schedule of a fullsize.
If I had the means I’d go out and order one today. It’s the perfect vehicle for me.

If I had to buy a pickup truck, you’re looking at it. Provided the interior comes in some other color and feels premium, that is.

I love that they’re doing a Denali edition of the Canyon.
What I don’t love is mixing wood trim and aluminum trim. One or the other, not both my GMC friends.
Wood trim on console and door, “aluminum” on wheel and around the center stack.
Not cool.

Agreed.
Even if it’s fake wood, put it everywhere.

Denalis usually come with black and tan interior options, at least the current Sierra does. I thought the standard interior was nice, I imagine the Denali just steps that up to a whole new level.

We REALLY are stretching what the word “luxury” means these days.
IMHO save yourself thousands (no price yet?) and go without some chrome and wood.
EDIT: or save yourself more and just the Chevy, since its the same thing.

Yeah, you can’t half ass it. Especially with the price tag that comes along with DENALI badges.
I Know, I’ve been looking at used ones. 175k miles and they still cost 9 grand for the non-xl Yukon.

I’m shocked it took them this long to make a Denali.
I think I would’ve just preferred no wood. Though I don’t hate how they have it.

Completely agree. Clashes badly.

I think Denali stuff is fitting of the word luxury, but that’s just me. More options, nice/uplevel materials... isn’t that usually what luxury means?

Me too, Denali is GMC’s CASH COW.
I can’t stand the mix, and I’m a fan of GMC and Denali in general.

That’s exactly what Luxury is. I like the Denali brand.

Ditto — I consider wood/metal coexistence to be verboten for interior design.
Mostly wood with a little metal? OK.
Mostly metal with a little wood? Equal mix of both? Not OK.

Ehh I’ll keep being that guy. Softer leather, more chrome and “real” aluminum and wood are things I could live without for $5k. Quotes around real, because imo it doesn’t look better then the fake stuff.
If Im really honest I’d go for a Z71 Colorado with leatherette and save $10k. Thats a lot of money for damn near the same thing.

With modern truck pricing? Starting at $45,000...

I think that’s exactly how I feel about this.

I can see this selling really well in Canada.

At least its not chrome right next to brushed aluminum. A friend of mine has a very high spec 2011 Chevy 2500, and it’s got both within inches of each other, to me it looks so bad.

That would be even worse. If you’re doing that you gotta pick a metal.
